It's November 29th and we still haven't received our I-171 from the USCIS. This is the only thing standing in the way of us getting our dossier to China. It's truly frustrating that the government can get one family their I-171 within days of being fingerprinted (they said it only takes 48 hours for the FBI background check) and others have to wait months. We just have to rest in the knowledge that God's timing is perfect and He is in control.

We have a package for Brighton that we're sending out at the end of this week with goodies and a self-addressed, stamped envelope. We're praying that he will write to us! It's going to be a tough Christmas without our little boy. Third Day has a Christmas song out called, "Merry Christmas." It was written by their guitarist who is adopting from China. Here are some of the words:

Okay, I'm crying again. The wait is getting more and more difficult as it gets closer to Christmas. The children are all getting so excited about the preparations and the caroling, etc... I feel like part of my heart is missing.
