Our little boy's first shave =( *sniff* *sniff* )

Brighton asked to shave last week. It really made me sad to watch our little guy stand there and shave. I used to look at him and see a little boy, but now I look at him and see a young man. He's growing up so fast, and part of me is happy, and part of me is sad at the thought.

Middle School has gone quite well this year! Brighton has really worked hard and has gotten good grades all year. He had straight A's on his last report card!!! We will be mainstreaming him in social studies next year. He's already mainstreamed for math and science. He has the top grade in his mainstremaed science class, which just amazes his teacher. He loves science. He does well in math, but doesn't like it like he does the science. Every day, when he gets home from school, he signs, "Math was really hard today!" LOL!

Next year for 7th grade, Brighton will be playing basketball and tennis for SFA. We're very excited because he will have an interpreter! We can't wait to sit in the stands and cheer him on!
